Monterey Refuse Service and Signature Waste Services offer curbside pickup of single stream recyclables that include:

• Newspapers, Magazines, Catalogs
• Telephone/Soft Cover Books
• Junk Mail/Envelopes
• Paper (all colors, including staples/paperclips)
• Paperboard (cereal boxes without plastic liners, beer and
  soda boxes)
• Cardboard/Brown Paper Bags
• Plastic Bottles numbered 1 & 2 (Soda/Juice/Water Bottles,
  Milk Jugs, Bleach/Detergent, Shampoo Bottles)
• Glass Bottles/Jars (any color)
• Metal Cans (tin/steel/aluminum)
• Please remove all lids and rinse items.
• Do not bag recyclables.

With the single stream method, all recycling materials are mixed together by the customer in the bin provided by Monterey Refuse Services. Blue Mountain Recycling (bluemountainrecycling.com) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania receives the recovered materials to be made into new products.
