Monterey Refuse Service, Inc. is a locally owned solid waste removal company providing collection, landfill disposal and recycling services for commercial, industrial and residential customers in 22 boroughs and townships of Southern Chester County and Southeastern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania as well as Cecil County, Maryland.

With our 42 employees and 27 vehicles, Monterey Refuse Service strives to provide consistent, superior customer service. Our focus is to respond promptly and effectively to all customer needs and requests, provide competitive pricing, and maintain strong relationships with our 15,000 residential stops and over 600 commercial and industrial clients.

Our sister company, Signature Waste Services, Inc. merged with Monterey Refuse Service in October, 2007 and uniquely offers both house side and curbside waste removal service to over 1000 Cecil County, Maryland homes. Signature customers may choose to have their 96 gallon waste wheelers and recycle bins, which we provide, emptied right from their storage spot by the home. Choose this service and you never have to take the trash out to the end of the driveway again! House side removal also means that the customer never has to remember their weekly trash pick-up day, no more forgetting to put out the trash.

Monterey Refuse and Signature Waste offer single stream recycling at no additional charge. Protecting our environment has never been easier. All recyclable materials can be placed in the same can with no separating required. Simply place your paper, plastic, glass, and metals in the container that we provide and our recycle center does the sorting.
